In the landmark Lord & Taylor building in Midtown, Shaver Hall reimagines the food hall experience. With a curated mix of dining concepts, full-service restaurants, a central bar, and a stage for live performances, we're a cultural gathering place where food, drink, and entertainment collide. Inspired by Dorothy Shaver's bold creativity, we deliver a hospitality-driven experience that's distinctly New York.

THE ROLE

As part of our Receiving Team, you'll be essential in keeping Shaver Hall running smoothly and looking its best. You'll ensure our shared spaces are spotless, safe, and welcoming-helping every guest enjoy the hall at its best. Receiving team members are detail-oriented, proactive, and quick to step in where needed to maintain an exceptional environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Receive all product from delivery companies

• Ensure deliveries are complete by checking order guides

• Ensure all food deliveries are up to health code by checking temperatures of all products

• Maintain Shaver Hall quality of all food products by checking each item as it is received

• Refusing any product that is not up to Shaver Hall standards and requesting credit from the vendor

• Communicate any issues with deliveries with the management team

• Maintain cleanliness of the hall through proper organization of all deliveries

• Sweep, mop and sanitize all surfaces that come in contact with deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or receiving experience is preferred, but not required.

• Energetic, approachable, and committed to delivering a great guest experience.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs.
