Job Title: Registered Nurse Clienttion Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Clienttion Oncology Duration: 11 months Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers Must-Have: - Patient Care Delivery - Interdisciplinary Teams - Patient Evaluation - Documentation - Patient Care Coordination Description: Perform appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate. Seek and evaluate information acquired from other members of the interdisciplinary team, including patient, family, physician, and support staff. Collaboratively develop individualized plan of care using assessment information and critical thinking skills. Actively seek patient, family, team, and physician involvement to develop the plan of care, including necessary education. Plan and prepare patients for further support needs once current episode of care outcomes are met, such as teaching, referrals, and follow-up. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration as appropriate. Provide or delegate care consistent with the plan of care, guidelines of care, and professional licensure provisions. Demonstrate the ability to set priorities and effectively manage time, supplies, and resources. Evaluate patient response to interventions through review of achievement of goals, clinical outcomes, and patient and family satisfaction. Revise the plan of care as indicated and reassess changes as appropriate. Promote the nursing profession and participate in the development of others. Integrate legal and ethical standards into practice and comply with regulatory standards. Practice within the scope of licensure, providing accurate and timely documentation. Understand the legal implications of care delivery. Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors requiring verbal communication and thorough understanding of spoken information. Manual dexterity needed to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. Expected to lift and utilize a full range of movement to transfer patients and bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. May need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and distributing supplies and equipment. Expected to navigate crowded and busy rooms and stand in a stationary position for an extended period. For roles requiring driving, expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing, and reading signs.
