The Territory Manager will oversee a geographic region serving small and mid-sized businesses, residential HVAC companies, commercial HVAC-R customers, and commercial and industrial accounts. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and General Manager, this role will drive territory growth through strategic planning, account management, customer engagement, and weekly regional travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plans for assigned geographic regions.
- Manage relationships with small and mid-sized businesses, residential HVAC companies, commercial HVAC-R customers, and commercial and industrial accounts.
- Conduct customer visits and build strong account relationships.
- Generate leads and develop a healthy sales pipeline.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and monitor territory performance.
- Analyze market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity.
- Negotiate contracts and support account growth.
- Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information in the CRM.
- Travel weekly throughout the assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in territory management.
- Experience with territory management and account management.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
- Experience with sales forecasting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC.
