The role of an LMFT at Mindfully Life Counseling Center is primarily remote, allowing you to provide therapy services from a comfortable home office setting while still being part of a collaborative team. Our outpatient office setting also provides you with access to shared resources and a platform for consultation with other professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges and design effective treatment programs tailored to their unique needs.

  • Provide individual therapy utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as CBT, family systems therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to promote personal growth and emotional well-being.

  • Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and track their progress through ongoing evaluations and adjustments to their treatment plans.

  • Offer teletherapy solutions, accommodating clients who may have mobility constraints or prefer the convenience of remote sessions.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions and therapy sessions to ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on current trends and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients consist of individuals and families suffering from a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance abuse. As an LMFT, you will work with a diverse range of patients, each presenting unique challenges, and you will have the opportunity to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships that facilitate healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • Must hold an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish secure, trusting relationships with clients.

  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' life experiences and struggles.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively handle caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly in telehealth, is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and prior training in addiction treatment will be advantageous.
