Summary Responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across multiple systems and platforms to ensure data integrity and support business operations at Hatcheries. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills to identify inconsistencies, and the ability to work with confidential information while meeting deadlines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enter daily hatchery production data (e.g., egg setting, hatching, transfers, mortality, culls, yields). Verify data accuracy by reviewing and reconciling reports from hatchery staff. Assist in monitoring inventory of eggs, chicks, vaccines, and other hatchery supplies. Support compliance with company policies, biosecurity procedures, and government regulations. Provide data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with hatchery supervisors and operations staff to troubleshoot discrepancies. Safeguard sensitive operational data and ensure proper filing/documentation practices. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on hatchery performance metrics: Cyberagra egg receiving Cyberagra egg set Cyberagra daily hatch Cyberagra placements Cyberagra Embryodiagnosis (candles and breakouts) Egg evaluation data Egg inventory Embryo temperatures Moisture loss Hatch windows Cull selection Hatchery Smock users Embrex data Pullout room temperature monitoring Chick room temperature monitoring Chick vent temperature at placement monitoring Chick weight and box count monitoring Daily hatch report First week mortality report Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 1–2 years of experience in data entry, recordkeeping, or administrative support (preferably in poultry/agriculture). Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and database systems. Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to qualify for the company’s driver program. Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and time‑management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, data entry accuracy and speed, analytical thinking and problem‑solving, ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
