Join as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Florida Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute rehab, or outpatient settings preferred. Familiarity with Meditech and NetHealth (ReDoc) documentation systems preferred. Experience with common rehab procedures including evaluations, vestibular and lymphedema follow-up treatments preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Unit: Rehab Department supporting Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF), Acute Rehab, and Outpatient services. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0900-1730. Typical Patient Ratios (estimated): IRF 1:4; Acute 1:12; Outpatient 1:10. Documentation systems used: Meditech (IRF and Acute) and NetHealth/ReDoc (Outpatient). Required to work with rehab equipment; duties include evaluations and follow-up treatments including vestibular and lymphedema care. Dress code: scrubs in gray or black. Visit South Beach and the Art Deco Historic District, both within a 20–30 minute drive from central Miami, for beachfront access and nightlife. Explore Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and the Pérez Art Museum Miami, each located in the downtown/brickell area within a 15–25 minute commute, for cultural and historic experiences. Drive approximately 30–60 minutes to Everglades National Park for airboat tours and wildlife viewing, or reach Biscayne National Park in about 30–40 minutes for boating and snorkeling. Miami provides extensive transit options including Metrorail and Tri-Rail connections, plus an international airport 10–20 minutes from many central neighborhoods, supporting an urban, coastal lifestyle with diverse dining and entertainment choices.
