Our Headquarters is in Lithia, Florida with operations throughout North America (U.S./Canada) and South America.**At Mosaic We Help the World Grow the Food it Needs - Apply today and join our team!****Heavy Equipment Operator****Where will you work:** Onsite *South Fort Meade* (*5880 Manley Road, Fort Meade, Florida 33841* *)*The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate heavy machinery for earth moving, phosphate plant & mining preparation & excavation projects.## What you'll do:* Operates construction, excavation, hauling equipment including, but not limited backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.* Perform work sites for land clearing & excavation.* Uses excavating machinery to dig holes, trenches & earth moving efforts.* Transports tools, pipe & equipment to and from work sites.* Operates machinery used in preparation for phosphate mining in the field & product inventory management in/around the plant.* Inspects & fuel equipment for shift.* Report the need for routine maintenance and repairs.* Operate heavy equipment in close to proximity to people.* Performs other related duties as assigned.* Maintain necessary documentation.**What you'll need:*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Previous heavy equipment operation preferred.* Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.* Ability to read & Interpret mine plans.* Ability to follow instructions.* Prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery.* Able to work long periods including shift, evenings and weekends when necessary.* Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains.* Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.**Benefits Offered by Mosaic:*** **Medical, Dental, Vision insurance*** **Paid vacation and sick time*** **Tuition Reimbursement*** **401k company matching*** **Optional HSA plan with company match**#LI-DNI #J-18808-Ljbffr The Mosaic Company
