Quality Assurance Lead

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for leading comprehensive testing efforts for enterprise applications, integrations, and release readiness. This role involves developing and executing test strategies, managing defect processes, supporting automation initiatives, and collaborating closely with both business and technical teams in an onsite setting. Responsibilities:
- Lead test planning, strategy, scope, schedules, and execution for enterprise releases.
- Review business and functional requirements to identify gaps, risks, and test coverage needs.
- Create and manage test plans, test suites, test cases, executions, and defect tracking using Azure DevOps.
- Supervise testers, review test artifacts, mentor QA resources, and enforce QA standards.
- Perform and coordinate functional, API, integration, regression, UAT, database, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead defect triage, reporting, and provide evidence-based release readiness recommendations.
- Support test automation review and development using Playwright or Selenium.
- 7+ years of QA/testing experience in enterprise software environments.
- Experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or senior QA professional with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium automation.
- Expertise in requirements analysis, requirements traceability matrix (RTM), API testing, and SQL/database validation.
- Experience supervising testers, leading defect triage, and reporting to management.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with data pipeline and ETL validation.
- Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience building reusable fixtures, page objects, API clients, test-data factories, and custom reporting.
- Exposure to performance and security testing coordination.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Work is performed onsite in Columbus, Ohio.
- Standard onsite work schedule based in Columbus, Ohio.
