SDI continues to push to be the industry leader and gold standard for corporate governance. The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia has an opening for an Engineering Clerk. Responsibilities Maintain engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. File and organize records, manuals, and project files. Enter data into engineering and maintenance software. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence. Track work orders, equipment records, and project progress. Order office and engineering supplies. Schedule meetings and coordinate with engineers, vendors, and contractors. Assist with purchase orders, invoices, and inventory records. Update databases with revisions to drawings and specifications. Answer phones, emails, and perform general office duties. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong organizational and filing skills Excellent attention to detail Basic understanding of engineering terminology and drawings (preferred) Good communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Additional Responsibilities in Manufacturing or Utility Environments Maintain preventive maintenance records. Track equipment repairs and parts inventory. Prepare documentation for regulatory inspections. Assist with engineering change notices (ECNs) and document control.
