As a Marine Technician Apprentice, you will be an essential part of our team, applying your mechanical knowledge to assemble and maintain marine equipment. Skills in electrical troubleshooting and system repair will support effective maintenance of boats, engines, and electrical systems. Under direct supervision initially, you will progress to independent work, contributing to high-quality service through excellent customer communication and attention to detail. A valid driver's license and basic mechanic tools are necessary for this hands-on role, which offers opportunities for specialized training and career advancement within the marine industry. This job will be full time Tuesday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rigging and mechanical maintenance of marine equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform system repairs on boats, engines, and electrical components
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
• Use mechanic tools safely and efficiently
• Work under direct supervision with increasing independence after training

Required Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge
• Understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
• Proficient use of basic mechanic tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in marine technology
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
