About the Role:
As a Direct Support Professional at Lifetime Skills Home Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Join our dedicated team in Philadelphia, PA, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities.
- Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Encourage and promote independence through skill-building and social interactions.
- Document and report on the progress and needs of clients as required.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance care skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
