Job Description

Job Description

Job description

$23–$28/hour · Full-time, on-site · Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. · Lake Forest, CA

Build our extraction equipment from start to finish on a two-person production team, and work toward a Field Tech role doing installs and repairs at customer sites.

Must have: you've assembled equipment from drawings and a parts list (BOM), including the wiring.

About the job

Access Rosin builds solventless extraction equipment in Lake Forest. We make 10 models of rosin presses and extraction systems, and most of them share the same core build. You'll assemble each one from an Odoo manufacturing order and BOM: wiring, fasteners and tri-clamp plumbing. Then you'll test it, check it against spec and get it out the door. You and our Machinist run production and the warehouse together, and you'll cross-train with each other.

What you'll do

• Assemble equipment from Odoo manufacturing orders and BOMs, from the frame and fasteners through wiring and tri-clamp plumbing
• Function-test every unit and check it against spec before it ships, and record the results
• Receive inbound parts, check them against the purchase order, put them away and keep counts accurate
• Build up stock of finished equipment and shelf parts so orders ship on time
• Pick, pack, crate and ship finished equipment and parts orders
• Keep Odoo accurate: complete manufacturing orders, record inventory moves and fix BOM errors when you find them
• Run the production area and warehouse alongside our Machinist and learn machining basics
• Grow into installs and repairs at customer sites once you've earned Field Tech

Must have

• You've assembled mechanical or electromechanical equipment from drawings and a BOM
• You can wire from a schematic: route, terminate and label wires
• You've done tri-clamp/sanitary fitting assembly or comparable plumbing work
• You've owned builds or jobs from start to finish without supervision, and you can tell us about one

Nice to have

• Odoo or another ERP or inventory system (NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, etc.)
• Freight shipping (LTL) and crating
• Field service, installation or repair experience
• Machining or fabrication exposure

Pay, growth & schedule

• $23–$28/hour to start, based on demonstrated skill. Hourly, with overtime paid for hours over 8 in a day or 40 in a week.
• Path to Field Tech, $29–$35/hour plus travel per diem. It's earned, not given for time served. You qualify by building every model on your own with zero defects at final check for 90 days and getting signed off on field installs and repairs. There's room beyond that to grow toward Production Lead.
• Health Insurance, 401k
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch
• Start: as soon as possible

Where you'll work

On-site at 25302 Jeronimo Road, Lake Forest, CA. No travel at the start; Field Tech includes travel to customer sites. The work involves standing for most of the shift, using hand and power tools, and lifting up to 50 lb.

How we hire

Short questionnaire → 20-minute phone call → in-person interview → paid hands-on bench test (build a small subassembly from a BOM) → offer. It usually takes about 2 weeks, and every applicant hears back from us within 2 business days.
