Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The ER RN - Travel position involves providing acute emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role requires flexibility to float to nearby facilities and deliver quality patient services across various shift schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients in the ED according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to emergent situations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using Cerner or similar charting systems.
• Comply with hospital safety standards, including medication administration and infection control protocols.
• Float to adjacent ED facilities as needed, adapting to different unit requirements and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted Arizona RN License or current compact license required.
• Minimum of 3 years critical care or emergency nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• Ability to float without restrictions and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and flexible shifts.
