Irrigation ManagerOuterland is a 70-person landscaping company looking for an Irrigation Manager to run our irrigation department, hands-on in the field and leading the team behind it. Great position for someone looking to grow their career with a senior team of green industry professionals.What You'll Do:In the Field:Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial systemsHandle complex service calls, startups, inspections, and blowoutsWork with two-wire and multi-strand systems, well and town water sourcesSupport landscape maintenance and our snow program in the off-seasonManaging the Department:Lead and develop our irrigation technicians including hands on teachingBuild and manage the seasonal schedule for startups, inspections, and blowoutsManage repair schedule and communicate clearly and accurately to accounts teamReview and process billing so work gets invoiced accurately and on timeCommunicate and manage subcontractors and vendors as neededTrack parts, inventory, and job documentationWhat You Need:5+ years in irrigation, including diagnostics and repairMust have strong time management skillsMust have strong communication skills through multiple formatsExperience leading a crew or teamProficient with installing and maintaining Hydrawise and other WiFi-based controllersMust have comprehensive computer skills including Google SuiteMust have the ability to learn internal ERP platformComfortable with scheduling and basic billing or admin workValid driver's licenseMust be able to pass a background checkPhysically able to dig, lift, bend, and stand for long periods
