Our leading healthcare facility is seeking a talented, detail-oriented Breast Radiologist to provide exceptional on-site diagnostic and screening services. Required Skills:
- Fellowship training and certification in Breast Imaging (mammography, ultrasound, MRI)
- Proficiency in image-guided procedures such as biopsies, localizations, and aspirations
- Strong knowledge of BI-RADS standards and MQSA compliance
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to discuss results and procedures directly with patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, clinical setting
- Experience with Change Health PACS (transitioning to Sectra PACS) and Cerner EMR systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with high-volume screening mammography (45-55%) and diagnostic procedures
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams
- Additional certifications or training in advanced breast imaging techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO with board certification in Radiology
- Fellowship completed in Breast Imaging or Oncologic Radiology
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in breast imaging or a comparable clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- On-site availability during scheduled hours (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Valid licensure and certifications pertinent to radiology and breast imaging
- Willingness to adapt to PACS system upgrades and EMR documentation processes
