Production Machine Operator

Our extensive manufacturing capabilities along with our highly qualified workforce has allowed Pivot to supply the automotive, medical, ammunition and firearm industries with specified precision tooling for over 50 years. 40 - 45hr / week 401k with match Monthly luncheon Christmas and end of year bonuses Boot allowance and safety glasses Training on-site Job Responsibilities Set up and operate machines to produce precision parts and instruments. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine grinding procedures and parameters. Select appropriate grinding wheels, attachments, accessories, etc based on specifications. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances. Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Record production data and maintain accurate logs of finished products. Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operations and machinery. Job Requirements Grinding experience preferred Mechanically inclined Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics. Understanding of grinding wheel specifications and tool adjustments. Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail and precision in work. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Strong communication skills for team collaboration.
