Pay Rate: $65,000 – $90,000/year

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and compliant movement of materials and finished goods to support production schedules, customer requirements, and inventory control objectives.

The Logistics Manager will collaborate closely with internal departments such as supply chain, operations, quality, and finance to ensure smooth material flow, regulatory compliance, and strong operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily inbound and outbound logistics activities, including domestic and international shipments.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production and customer requirements.
• Lead shipping and receiving teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Resolve shipping delays, freight issues, and transportation disruptions as needed.
• Maintain proper packaging, labeling, documentation, and handling standards.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions and maintain strong inventory control practices.
• Support warehouse organization, material flow, and space optimization.
• Monitor freight performance and identify opportunities for cost and service improvements.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to support operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable export/import shipping requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, repairs, returns, and customer needs.
• Support new product introductions and process changes from a logistics perspective.
• Track and report key logistics performance metrics (KPIs).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel.
• Establish clear expectations, standard work procedures, and performance accountability.
• Promote a safe, organized, and compliance-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong understanding of inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of export shipping and trade compliance fundamentals.
• Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to train, coach, and enforce operational and compliance standards.
• Experience in regulated, aerospace, electronics, or industrial environments preferred.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
