Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Specialized experience in Operating Room (OR) nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing in a variety of surgical specialties
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate as assigned for surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and support staff across all stages of perioperative care
• Prepare and maintain operating room instrumentation, equipment, and supplies
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond rapidly to emergent situations
• Document pre-, intra-, and post-operative data clearly and accurately in electronic medical records
• Uphold infection control practices and safety protocols at all times
• Provide emotional support and information to patients and their families before and after surgery
