Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts with a true rotating schedule. Shifts can be within the same week, requiring weekend availability every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with experience in high-risk labor and delivery, antepartum care, and circulating during C-sections. This role involves providing critical care to patients before, during, and after childbirth.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor patients for any signs of complications and respond effectively.
• Assist in delivering care during labor and performing C-sections.
• Keep accurate patient records and document care provided.
• Educate patients and their families on childbirth and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in high-risk labor and delivery.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Certification in neonatal resuscitation is a plus.
• Must be up to date with Flu and COVID vaccinations, with acceptable medical or religious declinations.
