Registered Nurse - Special Care Unit

Job Description

The Special Care Unit RN is responsible and accountable for patient care for a designated timeframe. Utilizing the therapeutic nursing process, the RN collaborates and integrates care with other healthcare team members while demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-specific care. The RN assesses and interprets patient data to identify each patient's requirements and functions as the primary RN. When needed, the RN may float to other hospital areas as directed and is expected to maintain high standards of care and safety within their scope of practice.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico or Multi-State RN Licensure
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• Critical Care or Emergency Nursing experience preferred
• At least one year of Medical-Surgical experience preferred

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
