Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, emphasizing cardiac conditions.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, providing timely interventions as necessary.
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders.
• Collaborate with emergency department staff for seamless patient transitions and care.
• Float to med/surg and telemetry units as needed, adapting to varying patient care requirements.
• Participate in orientation and continuous learning opportunities to maintain clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam via RELIAS with two attempts permitted.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA or APEX required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac strips independently.
• Experience with cardiac drip titration and adjustment based on parameters.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, self-schedule, and fulfill weekend and holiday requirements.
