This position involves leading, educating, and mentoring the team to ensure exceptional and unforgettable guest experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations LeadershipManage, lead, and mentor both managers and hourly staff to maintain exceptional guest serviceEnsure service standards and high-energy guest experiences align with THE ONE GROUP's brand identityOversee all business operations, including marketing strategies, risk management, and corporate mandatesMaintain daily reports and communicate key updates to the General ManagerTeam Development & StaffingAnalyze staffing needs and recruit top talent to build and maintain a high-performance teamInterview, hire, and onboard management and hourly staffCoach and train the team to foster productivity, morale, and a collaborative work cultureConduct regular performance evaluations and ensure compliance with Performance Management guidelinesFinancial & Business PerformanceMonitor sales forecasts, labor costs, and operational expenses to maximize profitabilityEnsure compliance with budgeted revenues and operating cash flow (OCF) targetsReview and act on monthly P&L reports and any variancesOversee the beverage program and collaborate with the Beverage Director to maintain quality and cost controlDrive sales through networking, marketing initiatives, and guest engagementMarketing & Guest RelationsCollaborate with the Marketing Team to develop new promotional ideas and initiativesBuild and maintain relationships with regular guests, VIPs, and industry influencersFocus on guest engagement strategies to create a memorable dining experienceExperience and Education: Two (2) years of restaurant management experience or one year as a Benihana manager with good performance and positive results. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred. Proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports. Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel). Must possess a valid driver's license where applicable. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must agree to background check. ServSafe certified alcohol service certified preferred. Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work different shifts, include holidays, nights and weekends. Typical work week = 50 + hours.
