Oncology Nurse Navigator

Job Summary Facilitates the coordination of care for patients through the continuum based on their diagnosis or procedure which may include but is not limited to ensuring follow up with physician offices, scheduling of necessary diagnostic procedures, providing education and emotional support throughout the path of care or designated timeframe. Triages incoming referrals for acuity to assist with patient throughput. Educates patients about their treatments and assists with overcoming barriers to healthcare. Job Details and Requirements Type: Part Time (48 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits) Typical hours for this position: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm Education Associate's Degree in Nursing - required Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing - preferred License/Certification Must hold an active RN license - required BLS - required Experience Minimum of three (3) years cardiology nursing experience - required Proficiency at triaging complex cardiology patients and understanding general cardiology, interventional cardiology, as well as electrophysiology - required Additional Information Why Work at Saint Francis?
