This position is responsible for leading financial reporting, planning, and commercial finance activities for JCB Inc. Sales, with a strong focus on sales performance, revenue optimization, and business profitability. The anticipated application window will close on August 22, 2026.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, with a focus on revenue, margins, and sales performancePartner with Sales leadership to provide financial insights on pricing, discount strategies, incentives, and contract negotiationsDeliver detailed sales and profitability analysis by product line, region, and customer segmentOversee accounting functions, including accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and credit risk managementDevelop and monitor key financial and commercial KPIs (e.g., revenue growth, margin performance, DSO)Analyze actual results versus budget/forecast and provide clear variance commentary with actionable recommendationsSupport commercial strategy and growth initiatives, including market expansion and channel performanceAssess financial and commercial risks and implement mitigation strategiesEstablish and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and proceduresLead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with commercial objectivesPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Leadership to drive profitability and cost disciplineManage, develop, and retain finance team membersLiaise with external auditors and tax advisors to meet US and Group reporting requirementsPresent financial results and insights to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable mannerOther Duties as AssignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or BusinessMinimum of seven (7) years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or commercial financeExperience supporting sales, revenue management, or business-facing finance functionsMust meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)Preferred QualificationsCPA or equivalent professional qualificationExperience in a commercial, distribution, or sales-driven environmentPrior leadership experience (3–4+ years managing teams)Strong experience in pricing, profitability analysis, and revenue forecastingExposure to public accounting or external auditKnowledge, Skills, Abilities & CompetenciesStrong financial analysis skills with the ability to translate data into commercial insightAdvanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders, particularly Sales leadershipStrong business partnering mindset and proactive, solutions-oriented approachEffective organizational and time management skillsAbility to develop and mentor team membersKnowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial controlsJob ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.Subject to noise and temperature changes.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
