Project Accountant

Global is proud to be a minority-owned business. Responsibilities Coordinate job setup and organization with the Project Management team. Set up approved subcontracts and purchase orders in Vista and review for accuracy. Set up and review approved Change Orders. Manage subcontractor compliance with terms and conditions of the contract, including items such as bonds, insurance, waivers, billing accuracy, etc. Prepare and submit all required lien waivers for the project, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Initiate the selection of subcontractor payments upon receipt of progress billing funds by verifying with the Project Management team. Review and maintain an accurate Project Cost Report. Generate and accurately process monthly General Construction G702/703 requisition billing in a timely manner. Investigate any unbilled project costs. Assist in financial aspects of project close-out. Provide the project-requested information to external parties. Coordinate and assist with project-specific audits. Assist with any additional assignments as needed. Requirements Preferred Qualifications: Construction Accounting Experience Job Costing Experience Strong skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or 2 years of qualified work experience MS Office Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work Education Preferred Bachelors or better in Accounting.
