Retail Staff Pharmacist - Parkville, Maryland

A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available to cover a pending leave of absence at a busy outpatient pharmacy site. This contract role serves a dynamic environment ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care while managing pharmacy technicians and counseling patients.


Location:

• Yard 56, 5525 Eastern Avenue Ste. 104, Baltimore, MD 21224
• Main pharmacy site: Belair-Edison Family Health Center, Parkville, MD

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday through Saturday
• Per diem coverage 1-2 days per week as needed
• Start/orientation dates available: September 23, October 14, or October 28

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pharmacy services
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Maintain smooth and efficient pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience is required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work setting
• 340B program knowledge strongly preferred
• Spanish-speaking skills are a significant plus
• Familiarity with ScriptPro software (training available)
