Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, automation testing, and enterprise application testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing functional and regression testing, API testing, and working in Agile environments. Previous experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and enterprise applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Java, Python, or other automation technologies .
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data .
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA .
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL .
• Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing as required.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support continuous testing and quality improvement.
• Ensure applications meet quality, performance, security, and reliability standards.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Test Automation .
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript .
• Experience in API testing and automation using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing .
• Experience with SQL and database testing .
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA .
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Insurance domains.
• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or other modern automation frameworks .
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber .
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems .
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS .
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner .
• Knowledge of security and compliance testing in enterprise applications.
