Truck Driver

As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics inyou will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. Instead, you focus on moving trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment.

What You Can Expect

• Home daily with a consistent schedule
• Limited road driving or highway traffic
• No touch freight
• No customer deliveries or multi-stop routes
• Steady, repeatable work in one location

Pay and Benefits

• $26.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential (dependent on shift).
• Opportunities for Overtime after 40 Hours

Job Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
• Perform drop and hook operations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
• Maintainaccuratelogs and documentation

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Safe driving record
• Experience operating tractor-trailers
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
