Here are some of the key skills and qualities we’re looking for in this position: Client communication and education Assist in restraining pets in a manner that allows necessary procedures to be done with minimal stress to patients, and ensure safety of patients and people Take accurate notes and medical history of patients Anticipate the needs of the doctor for routine exam/surgery visits; follow doctors request to fill or refill medications Operating Room surgery assistance Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, lab work, radiology, and pharmacology highly preferred Your qualifications are certainly essential to your success in this role and it is expected that you will demonstrate talent and skill as a Veterinary Technician.
