Senior Internal Security Investigator

Position Overview GEICO is looking for an SIU Internal Investigator to review and validate referred claims and policies through phone-based and online investigations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document investigative findings clearly for review by business partners. Responsibilities Review and validate referred claims and policies through phone and online investigations. Document investigative findings and prepare detailed investigative reports. Manage challenging customer interactions by phone and online. Work independently while ensuring compliance with investigative procedures. Qualifications Prior SIU, law enforcement, or extensive claims experience. Medical investigative background strongly preferred. College degree or active pursuit of a degree preferred. Strong computer skills and investigative judgment. Disciplined, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Work Arrangements The position follows a hybrid work schedule. The selected candidate will report to the Fredericksburg, Virginia office two days per week and work remotely for the remaining three days.
