Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support a fast-paced consumer electronics program. This is a hands-on delivery-focused role, primarily responsible for the expedient creation and documentation of 3D and 2D mechanical designs within a PLM environment. The role also includes in-office and lab-based support such as prototype assembly, design rework, fixture development, and mechanical testing. Key Responsibilities: Expedient delivery of 3D and 2D mechanical designs within a PLM environment Onsite lab work including Prototype assembly and rework, Fixture development, Mechanical testing and validation Support rapid prototyping efforts and hands-on build activities Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and provide clear technical documentation Required Qualifications (Must-Have) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 6+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience Expert-level proficiency in NX CAD, including work with complex industrial design (ID) surfaces Strong technical communication skills (verbal, written, and presentations) Highly detail-oriented with a delivery mindset Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) Experience working at a major West Coast consumer electronics company Familiarity with consumer electronics product development cycles Experience with soft goods or textile components Hands-on experience with mechanical test and inspection tools, such as: Instron Microscopes Optical measurement machines (OMM) Temperature and humidity chambers Experience with prototyping equipment including: #J-18808-Ljbffr
