Product Manager

The Product Manager (PM) position is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The PM will be accountable for individual pieces or whole products of Greenway's software/services which may include P&L responsibility, developing user stories, training, assessing the market, competitive analysis, pricing, product strategy and product planning. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Gathers input to define product concepts; justified expenditures for products; articulates and analyzes markets; evaluates technologies; develops detailed requirements, feature definitions and implementation plans. Assesses the market, identifies competitive offerings, understands and communicates their niche, approach and success in the market. Assesses product capabilities and communicates requirements. P&L and Forecasting management for parts of product or whole product depending on size. Facilitates voice of the customer activities. Develops product roadmaps based on business priorities and communicates that roadmap to senior leadership. Coordinates with third party vendors and strategic partners to ensure that initiatives are well-defined and delivered. Leads cross‑functional teams to envision new product features. Develops user stories and ensures stories are ‘ready’ for development to start work. Ensures each story has the correct acceptance criteria. Gathers, manages and prioritizes the product backlog, backlog grooming. Responsible for release tracking and accountable for solution delivery. Develops and maintains solution delivery timelines and plans. Works with customer‑facing teams and stakeholders to ensure readiness and excellent execution. Responsible for defect management, prioritization, and resolution. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred. Four or more years of experience managing the full product development lifecycle. Experience in, or demonstrated familiarity with, the healthcare industry. Proven success in defining, launching, and managing new products. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Highly motivated, self‑directed, and results‑oriented. Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and follow‑through. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong understanding of healthcare market trends and industry dynamics. Strong quantitative and qualitative business analysis and problem‑solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a cross‑functional environment. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. Customer‑focused mindset with a high degree of professionalism. Strong desire to learn and continuously improve. Ability to effectively manage a variety of tasks concurrently. Ability to serve as the product bridge between business, technology, and operational stakeholders. Experience enabling AI‑driven denials and claims workflows by mapping clearinghouse transactions, payer responses, attachments, and exception states into product workflows and user experiences. Work Environment/Physical Demands Primarily a sedentary job requiring consistent seated work during the majority of the workday. Requires regular typing on a keyboard for the majority of the workday. Requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to monitor own and others’ work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/or mobile devices. Requires the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates.
