Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Schedule

Rotation: 12HR shifts (3P-3A / 7P-7A). 36 hours per week with a weekend requirement of one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department that features 80 treatment spaces. The department is known for its collaborative and supportive team environment, strong leadership, and commitment to high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care as the region's first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and charting.
• Participate in additional on-call shifts as recommended to support department needs.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in emergency nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• Current certifications in NIH and AHA BLS.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
