Explore job opportunities at Vail Health 6810 Clinical Support-General Clinical Trainer New Schedule Schedule Full-time year-round Shift Days Details Company Colorado Mountain Medical Location Avon, CO Category Nursing Clinical Yes Close Date October 31, 2026 Pay Hourly $29.74 – $41.04 USD About the opportunity: The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, scheduling, and delivering training programs to clinical staff to ensure they meet competency standards to expertly perform their work in a multi-specialty medical practice. What you will do: Develop, implement, and deliver a training program for new and existing clinical staff. This will include general procedure and specialty training. Develop, implement, and deliver a training program for Patient Care Technicians to gain skills, knowledge and abilities so they may successfully transition to Clinical Assistants once specific licensure is obtained. Provide training through first weeks of hire and throughout the Patient Care Technician. Collaborates with medical providers and unit management in the planning, implementation and delivery of educational curricula. Provide CLIA training to staff while staying current on related testing procedures. Develop and facilitate OSHA training procedures for new and tenured staff to ensure ongoing compliance with medical practice requirements. Create and implement an in-service continuing education schedule for clinical staff. Deliver the training and/or schedule external trainers, and document participant records. What you will need: Experience: Two (2) years of adult instructional experience through job or education, preferably in a health care environment required. Working knowledge of multi-specialty office operations, workflows, and experience with utilizing an electronic health record required. Three (3) years of experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties required. Expert knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance, and OSHA rules and regulations required. Excellent writing, communication, public speaking, and customer service skills required. License(s): One of the following is required: Medical Assistant: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by American Medical Technologist (AMT) National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) by the National Center for Competency Testing Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcare Association Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) by the American Medical Certification Association Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant by the National Association for Health Professionals State of Colorado Licensed Paramedic State of Colorado Licensed Practical Nurse or valid compact state license State of Colorado Registered Nurse or valid compact state license Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) required Education: Bachelor’s degree in health care field preferred Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
