Responsibilities

Companion Care

• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Perform household tasks such as:
• Change bed linen
• Clean bathroom
• Clean living area
• Do dishes
• Do laundry
• Empty trash
• Grocery shopping
• Make bed
• Mop
• Pick up medications
• Sweep
• Vacuum

Personal Care

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned:
• Assist into and out of the shower
• Assist with dressing
• Assist with toileting
• Assist with transfers
• Brush hair
• Brush teeth

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate—you enjoy helping others
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance
• Highly desired: Applicants with CNA, PCA, RN, LPN, LVN, HHA Certification
• Must have reliable transportation
