X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures as part of a collaborative healthcare team. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Shift Information

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Orientation: The first week of the contract will include day shift orientation, followed by the established night schedule.

On-Call Requirements

• Participation in a call rotation is required, with a commitment of 3-4 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of x-ray procedures and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Support patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control checks.
• Assist with C-arm and O-arm procedures.
• May float to other locations within the same region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• ARRT and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with C-arm and O-arm technologies is essential.
• Trauma experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply radiation badges for travelers.

• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
• This facility operates as a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center.
• Charting is conducted through the Epic system.
• Parking is available for a one-time fee for night and weekend shifts.
