Job Overview Job Title: Nurse Manager Location: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Department: Radiology – RN’s Pay Range: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The actual compensation offered will depend on educational background, skills and professional experience. Responsibilities: Ensure quality nursing care is delivered to all patients and units in accordance with hospital philosophy, policies, procedures, and program plans. Assist with development of patient‑care standards, orientation and continuing education. Provide input into staff performance evaluation in accordance with organizational policies. Participate in nursing quality improvement initiatives. Assist with unit administration, including scheduling, payroll, and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Maintain and role model clinical skills necessary to provide care to patients. Take a daily assignment and practice an understanding of growth and development principles to assess age‑specific needs and provide age‑specific treatment and care. Ensure Radiology Nursing complies with all applicable policies, laws and regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational ability, nurse management and leadership skills. Demonstrated clinical expertise in area standards. Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Scheduling Requirements Full‑time, day shift; 37.5 hours per week, five days a week, Monday through Friday with on‑call duties. Essential Functions Meet requirements outlined in the applicable Department Specific Equipment Competency Checklist. Provide patient‑related care to ALL hospital departments, patients, families, visitors, nursing personnel and medical units. Maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, physicians, patients, visitors and guests. Utilize feedback to improve processes and services to meet and exceed customer needs. Follow sound employee relations practices and maintain high levels of visibility and accessibility. Follow through on all customer requests and inquiries in a timely fashion. Apply continuous quality improvement principles in all work situations. Seek feedback and suggestions to improve quality, processes and services. Contribute to improving quality of services and productivity by evaluating work, reporting problems, suggesting solutions and exploring new ideas.
