Quick Facts Location: 5801 Bremo Road, Richmond, VA 23226 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: ASAP until onboarding complete Shift: Full-time, Mon-Fri + Call (1:6 ratio) Hours/Week: Based on clinic and hospital needs Employment: Locum-to-Perm Licensure/Certifications: Board-Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology Experience: Previous inpatient and outpatient cardiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success What You’ll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in a hospital setting Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) and manage adult/geriatric patients Collaborate with APCs and other healthcare team members Cover call duties as assigned (1:6 ratio) Document patient encounters efficiently using EPIC EMR system Support the ongoing recruitment and integration of new physicians What You Need Required: Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one Board certification in cardiology (non-invasive) Experience with inpatient and outpatient procedures, including EKG interpretation Ability to supervise healthcare providers Preferred: Prior hospital-based cardiology experience Familiarity with EPIC EMR system About the Assignment This assignment involves providing comprehensive cardiology services in a well-established hospital and clinic setting in Richmond. The role supports the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality adult and geriatric cardiovascular care.
