AB Christian Learning Center seeks to expand program services to at-risk communities. Our purpose is to increase the number of economically disadvantaged families supported in early learning, literacy development, and out-of-school time programs. AB Christian Learning Center (ABCLC) seeks to improve the literacy of all children in the City of Fort Worth through Read Fort Worth by helping to ensure that all children are ready to learn when they enter kindergarten and reading on grade level by third grade. Member Duties The VISTA member will break the cycle of poverty by developing a database of useful information and resources to assist students in becoming ready to enter college or the workforce. The VISTA member will develop college and career readiness resource information for students and parents. Collaborate with college admission offices to identify available college tours, activities, and programs. Collaborate with local and statewide colleges to identify college events, materials, handouts, and resources to support college and career readiness programs.
