Position Details:
Speech and Language Pathologist- Smyrna TN
Location : Smyrna, Tennessee, 37167
Project Duration : 4 months
Pay range : $40-$44 per hour, based on experience W2 with limited benefits
Shift : Mon. - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Job Description:

TRC provides vocational training for students with disabilities who are ready to join the workforce.
Students must be able to remain independently safe and healthy to participate in training and live on campus.
This position will work directly with students and cover other therapists if needed.
One (1) SLP is being sought at 37.5 hours per week.

The SLP will have the following job duties:

Work within an interdisciplinary team (OT/PT/ST) with students enrolled in various vocational areas of study (AOS) to provide supports such as:
Classroom strategies for processing information, social skills, and attention to task
Time management
Recommendations for accommodations related to communication/speech/social interaction/following multi-step commands
Hands on supports in collaboration with the AOS instructor in the AOS hands on training area
Supports for student internship sites
Other SLP-related evaluations and assessments
