Occupational Therapist

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services within an acute care hospital setting. This is a contract opportunity that requires adaptability and strong clinical skills to support a variety of patient populations. The role involves floating across multiple hospital sites as needed, contributing to patient recovery and overall wellness.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
• Flexibility in scheduling is available if needed

Qualifications:

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in an inpatient or hospital setting preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to float between different hospital sites as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote optimal functional outcomes
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Provide education and resources to patients and families to support continued progress after discharge
• Accurately document care, progress, and outcomes according to facility standards
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
