Credentials Specialist
Serve as a Credentials Specialists for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) within the Professional Affairs Branch. Provide consultation services, ongoing review, and interpretation of regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and recommend actions to correct deficiencies and/or improve operations. Coordinate interactions with local, state and Federal agencies responsible for credentials and the privileging of independent healthcare providers, and all licensed, registered, and/or certified healthcare employees. Manage the credentials and privileging program for privileged health care providers. Conduct internal reviews and audits of the Provider Credential Files (PCF) and Provider Activity Files (PAF) to assure activities of the office comply with standards, policies, and guidance.
