Warehouse Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations

Location: Lakewood, Ohio

The Job: 

As a Warehouse Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations you’ll get to

• Have primary responsibilities to supervise employees safely within distribution center operations
• Have job functions that will include complete material flow from the receiving process, inventory process, and through the outbound process
• Drive safety requirements with distribution personnel
• Evaluate quality measures throughout shift, address concerns, and communicate
• Escalate risk and work with other leaders and departments to problem solve
• Oversee shipping and receiving functions
• Set shift schedules, workload, team responsibilities, and other duties as assigned
• Support team with paperwork: BOL’s, packing lists, customer invoices, ASN submission, and international documents
• Provide customer updates, partner with transportation carriers, and any expedited freight.
• Coordinates Cycle Counts
• Ensures all Company policies, procedures, plant standards and safety rules are consistently adhered to and take necessary actions if violations of policy/regulations/safety happen to correct the individual or team behaviors.
• Provides feedback on work performance, support teams, safety, housekeeping, quality, accuracy, quantity, punctuality, job knowledge, teamwork to the direct reports.
• Proactively address potentially difficult or complex employee relations issues while pulling in the necessary stakeholders (ex. HR, Management, Union representative etc.).
• Utilize the Tiered Meeting process to track and analyze key operational metrics and implement actions to improve operational performance and support Gemba Walks.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• 3+ years’ experience as a manufacturing supervisor
• Must be able to work daily and weekend overtime to support production.
• Demonstrated effectiveness at developing teams, managing direct reports, and empowering individuals.
• Experience with ERP systems; Infor LX experience is preferred
