Job Details Specialty: PCU / Stepdown / Telemetry Employment Type: Travel Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3 shifts per week Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/31/2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 Location: Greenville, SC 29601 Healthcare Setting: Intermediate Care / PCU / Telemetry Unit Registered Nurse Job Requirements Current RN license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required PCU nurse or stepdown experience strongly preferred; 2 years of PCU-level nursing experience is ideal for this unit BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and required within 6 months of hire Ability to successfully complete a dysrhythmia exam Experience with EPIC EHR preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations PCU Nursing Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care, stepdown, and telemetry setting Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions with critical thinking and urgency Manage complex patient needs including chest tubes, trachs, home vents, BiPAP, and high-flow respiratory support Titrate one vasoactive drip as indicated and support patients receiving insulin drips or CIWA protocols Monitor central lines, hemodynamics, and complex wound care needs Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards and policies Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent patient care Educate patients and families while promoting comfort, safety, and positive outcomes Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and calm decision-making in a dynamic care environment Apply now to join this Greenville, South Carolina healthcare job and advance your career in progressive care nursing today.
