Adams County is looking for a dedicated social caseworker to join their team. This position offers hybrid-remote working arrangements and flexible scheduling options after an initial training period of 90 days. The role emphasizes treating everyone with dignity and respect, valuing their input, and striving to do no harm.

The hiring range for this position is $64,277.61 - $72,930.36, with a full range of $61,805.39 - $89,617.82 annually. The position is located at Pete Mirelez Human Services Center, 11860 Pecos Street, Westminster, CO.

This position can do a combination of both assessment and permanency duties depending on the need of the agency. Responsibilities include responding to allegations of abuse and neglect, assessing reports of abuse, providing crisis intervention, preparing court reports, and supervising parenting time for children and families on caseload.

Qualifications for success include child welfare knowledge, the ability to demonstrate empathy, assessing safety of a child/youth, building professional relationships, prioritizing and managing time effectively, conflict resolution, computer proficiency, clear communication, and meeting state and federal mandates and time frames.

Education and training requirements include a bachelor's degree in human behavioral science fields, Colorado Child Welfare Caseworker certification, and a valid driver's license with proof of insurance. A criminal background check is also required.
