Mechanic-A- Repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline industrial and submersible
pumps. Positively represents the Company and maintains good relations with
customers. 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience and able to demonstrate duties
and responsibilities of a Mechanic B.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ability to diagnose repair and perform complete rebuilds on many different
types of pumps (high head and specialty pumps)
- Strong Knowledge of instrumentation and programming of controls Inc. panels
- Knowledge of Pump System – Submersible, Pump System Installation – Electric
and AODD
* Knowledge of filtration, A mechanic should know how to diagnose and repair
all filtration equipment including sand media filters.
* Ability to know where to obtain most repair parts as in some instances the
mechanic will have to order themselves. This would include local parts as
well as parts from the company’s warehouse.
* Able to demonstrates knowledge of up to five skills required for branch
specific work
- Complete paperwork/electronic documents as required by management.
- Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Other job competencies required to be successful in this position that are not
listed elsewhere include:
- Able to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Able to use a calculator, cellular telephone, and tape measure/ruler.
- Able to read a map, plan routes, and calculate distances.
- Must be Motivated, Team player, Safety-Oriented, and have a Customer Service
orientation

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Employee will be exposed to heavy physical activity performing strenuous day
activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
