Buyer Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. You will be part of the Procurement team supporting cross-functional business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and strong attention to detail, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Buyer Location: Tempe, AZ Hybrid Schedule 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Pay Range: $36.00 - $40.00 /hour What's the Job? Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in compliance with company policies and government regulations (FAR/DFARS). Analyze vendor quotes, proposals, and service offerings to identify cost-effective and compliant solutions. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value. Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance related to quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Ensure procurement activities follow established procedures, internal controls, and compliance standards. What's Needed? 24 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. Working knowledge of government procurement regulations, including FAR/DFARS. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to follow established processes and work effectively under general supervision. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
