Job Description Provides advocacy and crisis intervention to victims, survivors, and stakeholders affected by sexual and domestic violence. Conducts intakes, assessments, consultations, and provides information and establishes appropriate disposition, referrals, and follow-up to patients and impacted members of the community. Education / Knowledge Attained Level: Formal Preferred: Coursework in crisis intervention and grief counseling Completed Course Work/Program: Associate’s Degree in Health Education, Social Work or related field Applicable Experience Experience (years): Required: 1–3 years; Preferred: 3–5 years Minimum of 1 year in crisis intervention and mental health counseling required. Experience summarizing patient information and documenting psychosocial findings and other patient interactions.
