Senior HR Generalist

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB Automotive Mobility division is currently seeking a Senior HR Generalist. Expected annual salary range: $86,000 – $115,000 per year. The salary information is a general guideline only; actual compensation depends on skills, experience, and market considerations. Eaton announced its plans to combine its Mobility Group with a new company, expected to complete by the end of the first half of 2027. Compensation and benefits for this position are based on current plans. If you are offered and accept the role and are employed by the Mobility Group at the time of the transaction, the new company will provide further details about compensation and benefits. Location: Carol Stream, IL manufacturing site. On‑site presence required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified U.S. candidates. Position Overview Key focus areas include maintaining a positive employee relations environment; talent acquisition; college relations and internship program management; new employee onboarding; workforce planning; talent and career development; performance management; applying compensation philosophy; employee communications and engagement; consistent application of HR policies; and employment law compliance. In This Role, You Will Serve as primary full‑spectrum generalist HR support for Carol Stream. Support deployment of HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including employment, compensation, labor relations, training, talent acquisition, development, and work practices to improve site capability. Own site data reporting and analysis; provide action recommendations; monitor HR KPIs; ensure data integrity and regular audits. Support local recruiting, including interviews and selection; ensure compliance with regulations and goals. Assist managers and employees with HR tools to improve performance and culture, including performance management, development, succession planning, and retention. Conduct investigations on employee relations and ethics matters; produce summary reports and recommendations; support activities to promote positive relations. Collaborate with HR Services on transactional HR matters. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 3+ years as an HR Generalist. Experience leading employee relations, training, onboarding, workforce planning, and performance management initiatives. No sponsorship required now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications MS degree in Human Resources or related field. 5+ years in human resources. Experience in manufacturing environments. Data analytics experience. Experience developing and tracking training programs. Strong verbal communication skills. Organizational and prioritization skills for multiple projects. Bi‑lingual English/Spanish.
