About the Position

Job Title

Surgical Tech – LDRP / OB Tech

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Mid Shifts (0700–1900 and 1900–0700) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical tech support within the LDRP/OB department, assisting with vaginal and c-section deliveries
• Work within a single-suite OB environment under a manager/charge nurse present on each shift
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including every third weekend and 2 holidays per year
• Float to other areas of the facility as a helping hand or safety sitter as needed; may be offered opportunities to float to the main OR
• No clinical involvement beyond the scope of the surgical tech role

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or NCCT certification required
• Active North Dakota state license required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates may not be currently employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health
• All requested time off (7 days or fewer per 13-week contract) must be disclosed upfront; additional time off requests will not be approved, including requests submitted after placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an LDRP or OB surgical tech role
• Familiarity with c-section and vaginal delivery procedures
• Flexibility to float to various departments and adapt to changing unit needs
